Several People Hurt in Phoenix Multi-Vehicle Accident near 35th Avenue and Cactus Road

PHOENIX, AZ (February 22, 2025) – Saturday morning, an alarming 3-vehicle crash near 35th Avenue and Cactus Road led to injuries.

The crash involving three cars happened at around 10:30 p.m. near 35th Avenue and Cactus Road, said the Phoenix Fire Department.

Firefighters said a man, a woman, and a boy were taken to a hospital in critical condition. Three other children, two boys and a girl, were hospitalized with minor injuries.
Two additional people were evaluated at the scene but did not require hospitalization.

Police closed westbound Cactus Road, while eastbound lanes remained open. Thirty-fifth Avenue was shut down in both directions.

The Phoenix Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
