Injuries Reported in Goleta Auto Accident on Hollister Avenue and Pacific Oaks Road

GOLETA, CA (November 10, 2025) – Sunday night, an alarming ambulance crash on Hollister Avenue and Pacific Oaks Road sent one person to the hospital.

The incident involving an ambulance happened just before 6:45 p.m. on Hollister Avenue, west of Pacific Oaks Road, said Cape. Scott Safechuck.

The driver and only occupant of the vehicle that struck the AMR ambulance was critically injured and taken by another ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, according to Safechuck.

The person’s identity and condition have not been released.

No one inside the ambulance was hurt, Safechuck said.

Westbound Hollister Avenue was closed in the area while CHP investigated and cleared the wreckage.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
