MORENO VALLEY, CA (August 19, 2026) – Sunday night, an e-bike rider was hospitalized after an alarming bicycle crash on Alessandro Boulevard and Appleblossom Lane.

The incident happened at around 6:30 p.m. on Alessandro Boulevard and Appleblossom Lane.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, a rider was injured after an e-bike collided with a vehicle.

Deputies arrived to find the crash, and the e-bike rider was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. The rider is expected to survive.

The vehicle driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. No arrests have been made.

Authorities have not determined whether the rider was crossing the street, traveling in a bike lane or riding in the roadway when the collision occurred.
