KANSAS CITY, MO (June 2, 2026) – Monday morning, an alarming car crash on Interstate 70 near Bates City injured two people.

The incident happened at around 11:00 a.m. on Interstate 70 near Bates City.

According to reports, a 2023 Volvo truck struck a 2008 Mitsubishi Endeavor for still unknown reasons. Then, the force of the crash pushed the Mitsubishi to collide with a 2024 Freightliner tractor-trailer.

Moreover, responders transported the female driver of the SUV with serious injuries and the driver of the Volvo with moderate injuries to a hospital for treatment.
