NORTH BAY, CA (June 8, 2026) – Saturday afternoon, an alarming DUI crash on Highway 101 near Washington Street injured three people.

The incident happened on Highway 101 near Washington Street.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the GMC Arcadia, traveling at a high rate of speed, collided with a big rig. Then, the GMC lost control, struck another car, and rolled over multiple times.

Moreover, responders transported three people, including a male passenger with critical injuries, to a hospital for treatment.

Furthermore, officers arrested the 19-year-old female driver of the GMC on suspicion of DUI.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
