SOLANO COUNTY, CA (June 11, 2026) – Tuesday night, an alarming DUI crash on Interstate 80 led to traffic delays.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorist driving with a blood-alcohol content more than twice the legal limit caused a crash on Interstate 80 in Solano County.

Investigators said a Nissan traveling westbound collided with another vehicle, lost control, and was then struck by a tank truck, causing the truck to overturn. The crash resulted in a lengthy highway closure and significant traffic delays.
