2 People in Custody in Fillmore Auto Accident on 1055 Ventura Street

FILLMORE, CA (March 11, 2026) – Sunday afternoon, authorities arrested two people after an alarming hit-and-run crash on 1055 Ventura Street.

The incident started at the 400 block of Fillmore Street after officers received reports of a suspicious vehicle.

According to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, deputies attempted a traffic stop, but the driver refused to pull over and started a vehicle pursuit. Then, the suspect vehicle was involved in another crash at the La Plaza Market on 1055 Ventura Street.

Moreover, officers managed to arrest two people out of the three suspects who fled the scene on foot after the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office continued investigating the crash.
