PUTNAM COUNTY, MO (October 1, 2025) – Monday night, an alarming hit-and-run crash on Highway 136 near Unionville injured one person.

The incident happened at around 6:45 p.m. on Highway 136 near Unionville.

According to reports, a vehicle crossed the center line, struck a pickup truck and fled the scene without stopping to provide.

Moreover, a private vehicle transported the 76-year-old driver of the pickup to Putnam County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Missouri State Highway Patrol continued investigating the crash.
