VISALIA, CA (September 29, 2025) – Sunday morning, an alarming hit-and-run crash on Santa Fe Street and Kaweah Avenue injured 1 person.

The incident happened at about 2:00 a.m. on Santa Fe Street and Kaweah Avenue.

Visalia police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that left a pedestrian critically injured.

Officers were dispatched after reports of a vehicle striking a pedestrian and arrived to find the victim lying in the roadway with major injuries. The driver who hit the pedestrian did not remain at the scene.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and is listed in critical condition.
