Injuries Reported in San Diego Motorcycle Accident on 2400 Otay Center Drive

SAN DIEGO, CA (April 27, 2025) – Friday afternoon, a 51-year-old person sustained injuries in a motorcycle crash on 2400 Otay Center Drive.

The incident occurred at 1:14 p.m. in the 2400 block of Otay Center Drive.

San Diego Police Department officers said the motorcyclist had been traveling on Otay Center Drive on a 2020 Vento RY motorcycle when a Jeep driver struck him and drove away heading south, according to Officer Jose Perales.

The motorcyclist sustained a fractured ankle and a dislocated shoulder and was taken to a hospital. Police said the injuries were not considered life-threatening.

Reports said that it was unknown if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
