SAHUARITA, AZ (April 29, 2026) – Saturday night, an alarming motorcycle crash on El Toro Road and La Violeta Road sent 1 person to the hospital.

The incident involving a motorcycle happened at 8:45 p.m. on El Toro Road and La Violeta Road.

A preliminary report from the San Antonio Police Department says a pedestrian was walking across the street when they were struck by a vehicle reversing.

Police at the scene said a Dodge Ram pickup was backing up and ran over the man with its rear tires. Responders found a 41-year-old man underneath the truck when they arrived.

The driver, described as a man in his 30s to 40s, remained at the scene. Authorities have not said if charges will be filed.

Police said the victim was conscious at the scene, but his condition has not been confirmed. The investigation is ongoing.
