Injuries Reported in Archer County Multi-Vehicle Crash near FM 1954 at County Road

ARCHER COUNTY, TX (February 17, 2025) – Sunday afternoon, an alarming multi-vehicle accident near FM 1954 at County Road injured 4.

The incident happened near FM 1954 at County Road.

Texas DPS Sgt. Juan Gutierrez reported that the driver of a Chevrolet Monte Carlo was heading west when they failed to stay in their lane, drifting onto the wrong side of the road.

To avoid a collision, the driver of a Ford Explorer, also traveling west, swerved into the opposite lane. However, the Chevy returned to its original lane, colliding head-on with the Ford.

The driver of the Chevy sustained serious injuries and was rushed to United Regional. Two children in the vehicle were also hospitalized with non-incapacitating injuries.

The driver of the Ford suffered severe injuries and was transported to United Regional as well.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the crash.
