SURPRISE, AZ (April 28, 2025) – Sunday morning, an alarming multi-vehicle crash near 243rd Avenue and Sun Valley Parkway injured 2.

Reports said that the incident occurred just after 12:30 a.m. near 243rd Avenue and Sun Valley Parkway.

One of the individuals transported to the hospital sustained life-threatening injuries and remained in critical condition.

According to the sheriff’s office, one of the vehicles involved in the initial collision overturned. A third vehicle subsequently struck the overturned vehicle before fleeing the scene.

Detectives continued to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
