Ronen Lee Andersen Arrested after Alarming Multi-Vehicle Crash on Bradley Road and Betteravia Road [Santa Maria, CA]

Injuries Reported in Santa Maria Multi-Vehicle Accident on Bradley Road and Betteravia Road

SANTA MARIA, CA (March 10, 2026) – Sunday morning, Ronen Lee Andersen was arrested after an alarming multi-vehicle crash on Bradley Road and Betteravia Road.

The incident happened at about 11:30 a.m. on Bradley Road and Betteravia Road.

Officers arrived at the intersection and found several damaged vehicles. An investigation found that a car stopped in the northbound lanes of Bradley Road had been rear-ended by a pickup truck.

Police said the drivers briefly confronted each other. The pickup then struck the stopped vehicle several more times, pushing it into the intersection. The pickup continued through the intersection and hit a westbound vehicle, which then collided with a fourth vehicle.

Authorities said the driver responsible had left the scene. One person was taken by American Medical Response ambulance to Marian Regional Medical Center with injuries later described as non-life-threatening.

Officers later found the suspected vehicle at a home in Vandenberg Village. Police arrested 45-year-old Ronen Lee Andersen of Lompoc on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and felony hit-and-run.

Andersen was booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail with bail set at $50,000. Police said the investigation was ongoing and asked anyone with information to contact the Santa Maria Police Department at 805-928-3781, ext. 2277.
