PASCO, WA (April 22, 2026) – Monday morning, a driver sustained injuries in an alarming multi-vehicle crash on Highway 395 and Kartchner Street.

The incident involving three semi-trucks happened at around 8:45 a.m. on Highway 395 and Kartchner Street in Pasco.

Troopers said they responded to a crash involving three semi-trucks that caused traffic delays in the area. One of the drivers sustained minor injuries, while the other two were not hurt.

According to the Washington State Patrol, investigators determined that one semi was traveling west on Kartchner Street and failed to stop at a stop sign, striking a northbound truck. The force of the collision then pushed both vehicles into a third semi that was stopped in a turn lane.

Officials said distracted driving is believed to be the primary cause of the crash and reminded motorists to stay attentive and avoid using cell phones while driving.
