PHOENIX, AZ (February 10, 2025) – Saturday afternoon, an alarming multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 17 near Deer Valley Road led to injuries.

The incident happened at about 1:00 p.m. on Interstate 17 near milepost 215, just after Deer Valley Road.

The Phoenix Fire Department reported that the collision involved between five and seven vehicles. Seven people were evaluated at the scene, with three transported to the hospital with serious injuries. Four others declined transport after being medically assessed.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
