2 People Hospitalized in Morgan County Multi-Vehicle Accident on US Highway 50 near Old 50

MORGAN COUNTY, MO (February 22, 2026) – Friday night, an alarming multi-vehicle crash on US Highway 50 near Old 50 injured two people.

The incident happened at around 9:52 p.m. on US Highway 50 near Old 50.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2025 Nissan Altima crossed the center line and sideswiped a 2004 Honda Odyssey. Then, the Nissan collided head-on with a 2025 Hyundai Elantra head-on. Also, a 2013 Honda Accord struck the Hyundai after the initial crash.

Moreover, responders transported the 21-year-old male driver of the Hyundai with moderate injuries and the 61-year-old female driver of the Nissan with serious injuries to a hospital for treatment.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the MSHP continued investigating the crash.
