61-year-old Raul Trevino Arrested in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on 9300 Monsanto

SAN ANTONIO, TX (November 2, 2025) – Friday night, an alarming pedestrian crash on 9300 Monsanto injured a family of 3.

The incident happened in the 9300 block of Monsanto, near Loma Mesa and Roosevelt Avenue.

San Antonio police said a man in 61-year-old Raul Trevino lost control of his truck after “hitting the gas a little too hard,” jumping a curb, and crashing into multiple vehicles, a fence, and a family standing nearby.

According to investigators, several people managed to get out of the way, but a man and woman in their late 20s and their 1-year-old daughter were struck. The woman was taken to the hospital, while the man and child sustained minor injuries. All are expected to recover.

Police said the driver stopped at the scene and was taken into custody on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Officers noted signs of intoxicants inside the vehicle.
