Injuries Reported in Ventura County Pedestrian Accident on Highway 110 near Seacliff

VENTURA COUNTY, CA (March 22, 2026) – Thursday morning, a 65-year-old man sustained injuries in an alarming pedestrian crash on Highway 110 near Seacliff.

The incident happened at about 6:07 a.m. on Highway 110 near Seacliff.

Dispatchers received calls about a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on northbound Highway 101 near Seacliff, according to the CHP.

Investigators said a 65-year-old Ventura man had pulled onto the right shoulder near the end of the Seacliff on-ramp and exited his vehicle to change a tire.

A 53-year-old Oxnard man driving an orange Ford Ranger on the on-ramp veered onto the shoulder for unknown reasons and struck the man.

The victim suffered major injuries and was taken by ambulance to Ventura County Medical Center. The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
