UNION STAR, MO (August 26, 2026) – Last August 21, an alarming pedestrian crash on US Highway 169 injured 2.

The incident involving a car and two pedestrians happened just after 4:00 p.m. on US Highway 169.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 41-year-old woman and a 3-year-old boy were struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross U.S. Highway 169 about five miles west of Union Star.

A 63-year-old man was driving a 2015 Toyota 4Runner southbound when the vehicle struck the pedestrians with its front passenger side.
