Injuries Reported in Los Angeles Auto Accident on N Topanga Canyon Road

LOS ANGELES, CA (August 21, 2025) – Wednesday afternoon, an alarming rollover crash on N Topanga Canyon Road injured 1 person.

The incident happened at 12:15 p.m. in the 2300 block of North Topanga Canyon Road.

CHP said a white Ford Edge overturned and rolled into a canyon, trapping a victim. A Los Angeles County Fire Department helicopter airlifted one patient to a hospital.

Rescuers struggled to locate the vehicle because the reporting party, a man in his 70s, did not know the exact location where it came to rest. The man complained of pain, but it was unclear if he was the only occupant or the person airlifted.

A tow truck later pulled the car back to the road with a long cable, CHP said.
