STE GENEVIEVE, MO (August 5, 2026) – On Monday, an alarming single-vehicle crash on Smith Road near Highway D injured three people.

The incident happened on Smith Road near Highway D.

According to reports, a 2022 Can-Am Commander XT side-by-side slid off the roadway and crashed into a tree.

Moreover, responders airlifted an 18-year-old passenger of the vehicle to Mercy Hospital with serious injuries. Then, paramedics transported the 16-year-old male driver of the vehicle and his 16-year-old female passenger to St Louis Children’s Hospital with moderate to serious injuries.
