MARICOPA, AZ (April 13, 2026) – Thursday afternoon, an alarming traffic crash on John Wayne Parkway and Bowlin Road injured 2 people.

The incident happened at about 4:24 p.m. on John Wayne Parkway and Bowlin Road.

A gray Nissan sedan with front-end damage was observed at the scene, with debris spread across the roadway.

A city spokesperson said the crash was attributed to a failure to yield at the intersection. Two people were treated at the scene by Maricopa Fire/Medical Department for minor injuries and did not need to be taken to a hospital.

Officials said the road was expected to fully reopen by 5:15 p.m.
