3 People Hurt in Harris County Auto Accident on Little York Road near Eastex Freeway

HARRIS COUNTY, TX (August 19, 2025) – Sunday night, an alarming traffic crash on Little York Road near Eastex Freeway injured three people.

The incident happened at around 11:30 p.m. in the 3800 block of Little York Road, near the Eastex Freeway feeder.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a westbound vehicle collided with an eastbound Harris County Sheriff’s Office patrol unit.

Moreover, responders transported the driver and a passenger of the Pontiac to a hospital with unknown injuries. Also, the 25-year-old deputy sustained a cut to his arm and was treated at the scene.

Furthermore, officers confirmed that the deputy had the right of way at the time of the crash. Then, authorities said that the driver of the Pontiac is under investigation for driving under the influence.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office continued investigating the crash.
