BELLINGHAM, WA (April 23, 2024) – On Saturday, an alarming two-vehicle crash on Holly Street near F Street injured one person.

The incident happened on Holly Street near F Street.

According to Bellingham Police spokesperson Megan Peters, a van rear-ended a pickup truck that was stopped at a light. Then, the van attempted to flee the scene but ended up crashing against a pole.

Moreover, responders transported the pickup truck driver to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Furthermore, authorities arrested the 52-year-old male driver of the van, for DUI and a vehicular assault charge.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Bellingham Police continued to investigate the crash.
