2 People Hospitalized in Riverside Auto Accident on Arlington Avenue and Mitchell Avenue
RIVERSIDE, CA (August 27, 2026) – Tuesday night, an alarming vehicle crash on Arlington Avenue and Mitchell Avenue injured two people.
The incident happened at around 8:00 p.m. on Arlington Avenue and Mitchell Avenue.
According to reports, a Lexus sedan struck an e-scooter and an e-moto that were crossing the intersection.
Moreover, responders transported the riders of the e-scooter and e-moto, both 14-year-old males, to a Riverside hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Furthermore, officers confirmed that neither of the tow vehicles was legal under California law to be operated by underage riders on municipal rights-of-way.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remain unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
