2 People Hurt in Orange Auto Accident on Hewes Street and Via Lardo Avenue

ORANGE, CA (April 2, 2025) – Tuesday afternoon, an alarming vehicle crash on Hewes Street and Via Lardo Avenue injured two people.

The incident happened at around 1:30 p.m. on Hewes Street and Via Lardo Avenue.

According to Orange police Lt Phil McMullin, two teenage boys on an electric scooter were traveling southbound in the northbound lanes when they collided with a northbound Tesla.

Moreover, responders rushed the two boys to an area hospital in critical but stable condition.

Furthermore, the driver of the Tesla remained at the scene and was not suspected of impairment.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the authorities continued investigating the crash.
