SAN ANTONIO, TX (May 18, 2026) – Saturday, a police officer was injured in an alarming vehicle crash on S New Braunfels Avenue and Interstate 10.

The incident occurred just before 10:00 a.m. on South New Braunfels Avenue and Interstate 10 East access road.

Police said an officer responding to a disturbance call was involved in a crash with another vehicle at an intersection.

The officer suffered injuries and was transported to a hospital for further evaluation. Authorities said the other driver declined medical treatment.
