2 People Hurt in Harris County Auto Accident on Veterans Memorial Drive and Fallbrook Drive

HARRIS COUNTY, TX (August 30, 2026) – Saturday morning, an alarming vehicle crash on Veterans Memorial Drive and Fallbrook Drive injured two people.

The incident started at around 6:30 a.m. when ICE agents attempting to serve a final removal order started a chase against a suspect.

According to reports, the chase ended when the suspect vehicle collided with a civilian vehicle at the intersection of Veterans Memorial and Fallbrook. Then, the force of the crash pushed the civilian vehicle to roll over.

Moreover, responders confirmed that an occupant of the civilian vehicle and a passenger of the suspect vehicle both sustained injuries in the crash.

Furthermore, officers said that the suspect fled the scene on foot after the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remain unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office continued its investigation into the crash.
