Dodge Ram Driver Alberto Martinez Killed in Irvington Boulevard Collision [Houston, TX]

Houston, TX (May 19, 2026) – Alberto Martinez, 44, was killed, and his passenger was injured in an Irvington Boulevard collision Friday afternoon.

It was before 5 p.m. when the fatal crash happened at the 6700 block area.

Officers said a red Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Martinez was speeding south when he lost control and crashed into a fence and pole.  

Reports said Martinez and his female passenger, 33, were ejected from the vehicle. They were rushed to an area hospital in critical condition.

Martinez was later declared deceased.
