Deadly DWI Crash in Pharr Leads to Manslaughter Charge for 20-Year-Old Driver

Pharr, TX (November 30, 2025) — A late-night collision in Pharr left one person dead and another injured, and police now say 20-year-old Alejandro Trevino is responsible.

According to authorities, the horrific crash happened around 1:30 a.m., along the 5300 block of North Interstate 69. First responders found two people hurt and rushed them to a nearby hospital. One of the victims later died from their injuries.

Investigators believe Trevino caused the crash while driving under the influence. Officers arrested him at the scene and later charged him with intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault. His bond was set at $150,000.

Authorities have notified the victim’s family, but the person’s identity has not yet been released.
