Sherman Oaks, CA (December 13, 2023) On Tuesday morning, 45-year-old Alex Tranchina died after a tragic traffic collision on the San Diego (405) Freeway.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened around 3:57 a.m. on the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway to the westbound Ventura (101) Freeway.

Reports say that Tranchina was fatally struck by a vehicle on the transition road between highways.

CHP pronounced Tranchina dead at the scene, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner identified the victim.
