Alexander Diaz Mendoza Arrested in Binz Engleman Road Deadly Crash [Bexar County, TX]

Bexar County, TX (February 25, 2026) – The authorities arrested Alexander Diaz Mendoza, 30, following a Binz Engleman Road deadly crash Thursday night.

It was past 9 p.m. when the fatal collision happened on Woodlake Parkway.

Troopers stated Mendoza disregarded a red light and struck another vehicle that was carrying a pregnant woman.

Sadly, the pregnant woman went into labor and miscarried due to her crash injuries.

BCSO arrested Mendoza on an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge.

The sheriff confirmed that Mendoza was intoxicated and determined it contributed to the baby’s death, wherein he could face an additional charge of intoxication manslaughter.
