Alexander Leroux Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on India Street [San Diego, CA]

1 Dead in San Diego Pedestrian Accident on 3500 India Street

SAN DIEGO, CA (December 1, 2025) – Saturday, Alexander Leroux, 58, died in a devastating hit-and-run crash on 3500 India Street.

The incident happened just before midnight in the 3500 block of India Street.

Officers and paramedics arrived to find a man, believed to be about 60 (later identified as Mr. Alexander Leroux), who had been hit while crossing mid-block, according to the San Diego Police Department.

Police said the driver of a silver or gray sedan was heading north on India Street with a green light at Vine Street when the pedestrian stepped into the roadway. The man was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

The victim was later identified by authorities as 58-year-old Alexander Leroux. 

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the fatal crash.
