2 People Dead in Blanco County Auto Accident on Ranch Road 165 near Chaparral Trail

BLANCO COUNTY, TX (August 13, 2025) – Sunday afternoon, authorities arrested Alexandra Jackson after a fatal traffic crash on Ranch Road 165.

The incident happened on Ranch Road 165 near Chaparral Trail.

According to the Department of Public Safety, a Mercedes SUV collided with a Subaru for still unknown reasons. Then, the force of the crash pushed the Mercedes SUV into the opposite lane and collided with another SUV.

Moreover, responders confirmed that the driver and passenger of the Subaru died in the crash.

Furthermore, officers arrested the driver of the Mercedes, identified as Jackson, for two counts of intoxication manslaughter.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the DPS continued investigating the crash.
