Ali Navadeh of Novato Killed in Highway 101 Collision [Novato, CA]

Novato, CA (December 13, 2023) On Friday afternoon, 79-year-old Ali Navadeh of Novato died in a tragic collision on Highway 101.

According to the Marin County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), the deadly traffic accident happened around 5:08 p.m. along Highway 101’s southbound lanes near the Alameda del Prado exit.

Reports say that a vehicle travelling on Highway 101, lost control and hits Navadeh, who has been sitting on his disabled vehicle waiting for assistance. Officials say that Navadeh’s vehicle was parked on the highway’s shoulder.

Authorities say that the collision caused considerable damage to both vehicles. Officials pronounced Navadeh dead at the scene.

MCSO is conducting an active investigation.
