The Fresno County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Ortega of Fresno. Authorities said the collision occurred shortly before 9 p.m. near the intersection of Ventura and F streets.

Emergency crews transported Ortega to a local hospital in critical condition, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
