Arizona Man Allen Glazer Deceased in Rear-End Crash on Interstate 10 [Blythe, CA]

Blythe, CA (September 11, 2026) – Allen Glazer, 62, of Buckeye, Arizona, was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 Monday afternoon.

The fatal rear-end crash happened past 4 p.m. on September 7, west of Neighbors Boulevard.

According to the authorities, a 2020 Chevrolet Spark driven by a 41-year-old man from Glendale, Arizona, rear-ended a stopped 2017 Subaru Outback, driven by Glazer.

The impact then pushed the Subaru to rear-end a 2023 Ford Bronco, which smashed the back of a stopped 2022 Acura MDX. 

Afterward, the Outback and the Spark then blocked the number 1 lane, and the other vehicles ended to the center median. 

Immediately, the medical team responded to the scene and transported Glazer to Blythe Airport, for him to be airlifted, but he was declared deceased there.

Along with Glazer’s front-seat passenger, the driver of the Spark was airlifted to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs.

Similarly, a passenger in the Spark was airlifted to Valley Wide Health in Phoenix, in unknown condition.

Investigators said the several vehicles were stopped in the number lane prior to the chain-reaction crash due to nearby construction work.

Police do not believe alcohol was a factor in the collision.
