Mother and Daughter Die After Vehicle Collision in Stanton

Stanton, CA (June 3, 2025) — Authorities are investigating a fatal crash that claimed the lives of Amadilia Noemy Cruz and Gabriela Armadilia Cruz Monday night in Stanton.

Orange County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the intersection of Cerritos and Magnolia avenues around 8 p.m. after receiving reports of a pedestrian collision. Investigators determined that two women were struck by a vehicle while crossing the street.

The victims were identified as 61-year-old Amadilia Noemy Cruz and her 34-year-old daughter, Gabriela Armadilia Cruz, both of Anaheim.

Emergency responders transported both women to a local hospital, where they later died from their injuries.

The driver remained at the scene, cooperated with investigators, and authorities said there were no indications of impairment. Officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
