Amanda Ottley Injured in Adams Road NW Collision [Quincy, WA]

Quincy, WA (December 11, 2024) – Amanda Ottley, 69, of Quincy, and her 13-year-old female passenger, were injured following an Adams Road NW collision Monday.

The solo-vehicle crash happened around 11:28 a.m. on the 7000 block of Adams Road NW near Road 7 NW.

Amanda Ottley was driving a northbound 2015 Ford Edge when she encountered a patch of mud near a canal bridge. 

Ottley said she was traveling at the speed limit when her vehicle struck the mud and she lost control. The vehicle then swerved into the southbound lane.

Ottley overcorrected and the vehicle was sent back into the northbound lane and off the west side of the road. 

Finally, the vehicle went down an embankment and struck a tree around 20 feet from the road.

Ottley and her passenger were wearing seatbelts. 

The rescuers extricated them from the wreckage and transported them to Quincy Valley Medical Center.

Meanwhile, the vehicle sustained severe front-end damage and was deemed totaled.
