4 People Hospitalized After Crash on Manchester Avenue in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, CA (February 18, 2026) — Four people sustained injuries Wednesday night after a crash on Manchester Avenue involving an ambulance and another vehicle near Los Angeles International Airport, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Manchester Avenue and Sepulveda Boulevard. 

Authorities reported that two Los Angeles Police Department officers were escorting a patient at the time of the collision.

The impact injured the two LAPD officers, an LAFD firefighter, and a 23-year-old woman. 

Emergency responders transported all four individuals to a nearby hospital for treatment. 

Officials confirmed that each person suffered minor injuries.

Following the crash, the Los Angeles Fire Department dispatched a second ambulance to ensure the original patient was transported safely to the hospital.

Investigators have not released further details about the cause of the collision. 

The incident remains under investigation.
