Ambulance Responds to Stolen Vehicle Crash on 90th Street [South LA, CA]

South LA, CA (April 22, 2026) – An ambulance has responded to a stolen vehicle crash on 90th Street Sunday night.

The traffic collision happened before 10:30 p.m. on San Pedro Street.

Troopers said a reported stolen vehicle was driving recklessly when it crashed onto an LAPD patrol vehicle. 

Consequently, the driver of the stolen vehicle fled the scene and struck another vehicle before they fled on foot.

The officer inside the patrol vehicle was not injured in the collision, but they requested for an ambulance for the second vehicle that was struck by the suspect. 

There is no information on how many people were inside the second vehicle and the extent of their injuries.

The authorities are still searching for the suspect driver.
