Andrea Harris Dies in Frightening Collision on Sahuarita Road [Tucson, AZ]

Tucson, AZ (March 28, 2026) — Early Tuesday morning, 62-year-old Andrea Harris lost her life in a collision on Sahuarita Road involving a semi-truck in Pima County.

Authorities say that Harris died at the scene after her vehicle collided with a tractor-trailer near the intersection of Sahuarita Road and Melpomene Way around 6:40 a.m.

Emergency responders pronounced Harris dead at the scene. The truck driver was not injured.

Investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash. Officials said neither speed nor impairment appears to have contributed to the incident.
