Andrei Parham Arrested in Frightening Crash on Interstate 70 [Columbia, MO]

Columbia, MO (June 11, 2025) – Authorities have charged 32-year-old Andrei Parham of Beaverton, Oregon, with felony driving while intoxicated after he crashed a tractor-trailer on Interstate 70 on Monday.

Reports say that Parham, driving a 2023 Freightliner, rear-ended a 2017 Volvo box truck in the westbound passing lane near mile marker 92.8.

Authorities say that the impact pushed the Volvo into a 2014 Freightliner M2, which then struck a guardrail.

Parham’s vehicle continued, hitting the side of the Volvo. The crash closed at least one lane of I-70 for over an hour.

Troopers determined Parham appeared intoxicated, and his blood alcohol content registered .237 and then .204, both significantly over the legal limit.

The driver of the other Freightliner sustained minor injuries and received transport to University Hospital.

Parham is currently held at the Cooper County Jail on a $15,000 bond.
