Andres Montanez Killed in Pedestrian Collision on Loop 375 [El Paso, CA]

El Paso, CA (May 31, 2025) — Early Saturday morning, 19-year-old Andres Montanez lost his life following a pedestrian collision on Loop 375 in El Paso.

According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 1:06 a.m. on May 30 to a crash involving a pedestrian near Mile Marker 20 on Loop 375. When they arrived, they found serious injuries and requested assistance from Special Traffic Investigators.

Investigators determined that a silver Honda was traveling eastbound on Loop 375 when it struck a pedestrian who was crossing the roadway.

Emergency crews transported Montanez to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the fatal collision.
