Andres Ramirez Orozco of Clovis Dies in Shaw Avenue Hit-and-Run Crash [Fresno, CA]

Fresno, CA (November 08, 2021) – On Monday morning,  an 18-year-old Andres Ramirez Orozco of Clovis died in a hit-and-run crash on Shaw Avenue.

It was before 1 a.m when the fatal crash happened near 6th Street.

Investigators said Orozco was traveling in a VW Jetta. At the same time, a Toyota Camry was eastbound on Shaw Avenue at a high rate of speed.

Then, a third vehicle suddenly pulled in front of them.

 Both drivers swerved, crashed with each other and spun.

The VW Jetta crashed into a tree and killed Orozco at the scene.

On the other hand, the Camry’s 29-year-old driver was not injured in the crash.

Moreover, the third driver fled after the crash. Officers believe the third vehicle is an early 2000s white Malibu or Impala style vehicle.
