Police Investigate Suspected Hit-and-Run Crash on Needham Ranch Road in Sana Clarita

SANTA CLARITA, CA (December 11, 2025) — Authorities are investigating a suspected hit-and-run crash on Needham Ranch Road after Angel de Jesus Negrete, 26, was found dead on Wednesday morning.

Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Santa Clarita Valley Station responded to reports of a fatal traffic collision around 10:00 a.m. near the intersection of Needham Ranch Road and Sierra Highway. 

Upon arrival, deputies discovered a deceased individual at the scene. The victim, 26-year-old Angel de Jesus Negrete, was pronounced dead on arrival.

Officials have confirmed the incident is being treated as a hit-and-run, though the events leading up to the fatal collision remain unclear. 

At this time, authorities have not released any suspect or vehicle description.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact local law enforcement.
