Angela Marie King Dead in Fort Lowell Road Collision

Suspect Driver and Passenger Injured in Tucson Deadly Vehicle Crash

Tucson, AZ (January 20, 2026) – 28-year-old Angela Marie King was fatally injured following a Fort Lowell Road collision Sunday night.

The deadly vehicle crash happened past 8:00 p.m. east of Alvernon Way.

Investigators learned that King was eastbound on Fort Lowell Road when she was hit by a black 2017 Jeep Wrangler.

Troopers said the Jeep was speeding west on the same road, crossed into oncoming traffic, and struck King head-on.

Sadly, King was killed at the crash scene.

Moreover, the Jeep’s driver, a 23-year-old man and his 17-year-old male passenger fled on foot from the scene but were caught minutes later. Both of them sustained non-life threatening injuries and were rushed to Banner University Medical Center.

Charges on the suspects are pending.
