Midland, TX (September 14, 2026) — 22-year-old Angelina Archuleta died Thursday night after a collision near Loop 250 in Midland, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

DPS said a Kenworth tractor-trailer was traveling east on the IH-20 service road when it ran a traffic signal near Loop 250. The truck then collided with a southbound Nissan Kicks driven by Archuleta.

Authorities pronounced Archuleta dead at the scene. The semi-truck driver suffered minor injuries and went to Midland Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
