Angelina Solis Arrested in Deadly Crash on Contra Costa Boulevard [Pleasant Hill, CA]

Pleasant Hill, CA (March 9, 2026) — On Sunday morning, a 41-year-old bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Contra Costa Boulevard; authorities later arrested 45-year-old Angelina Solis of Concord in connection with the fatality.

Officers responded shortly before 1:50 a.m. to the intersection of Contra Costa Boulevard and Taylor Boulevard after receiving reports of a collision.

When authorities arrived, they found the bicyclist severely injured in the roadway. Despite emergency response efforts, the woman died at the scene.

Investigators determined that the driver responsible had fled before police arrived. During the investigation, officers identified the suspected vehicle as a dark-colored Mazda SUV. Authorities later located the damaged vehicle parked and unoccupied in Concord.

Police tracked down the registered owner of the SUV, identified as Solis. Officers took her into custody shortly afterward. She now faces allegations of felony hit-and-run and vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.

The crash forced officials to close the intersection for several hours while investigators documented the scene. Authorities have not yet publicly released the victim’s identity.
